Set on a Scottish Island called Mistletoe Island, Sophie Pembroke has written a fantastic novel, which has great descriptions of the Island and I would love to visit here. The book is set in December and although there is a festive feel to the book it is really about the build up to the festive period.
I really enjoyed the storylines where a long term friendship group develops over time and the roles that the friends play over time. The group of friends return to Mistletoe Island, the place where the friends visited following their graduation and now they are back for the wedding of two of the group. I really enjoyed meeting the friends, learning about their history together and watching them celebrate the nuptials.
