Blog Tour - One Christmas Night by Hayley Webster

Nine lives. One street. And a secret behind every door.

Christmas is ruined on Newbury Street, Norwich.

Presents have been going missing from resident's homes. There are rumours going around that it's one of their own who's been stealing from the neighbours. Festive spirit is being replaced with suspicion and the inhabitants of Newbury Street don't know who to trust. The police presence isn't helping matters, especially when they all have something to hide.

But Christmas is a time for miracles... and if they open themselves up to hope and look out for each other, they might discover the biggest miracle of all.

An uplifting novel about love, friendship, connection and community, for readers who love Joanna Cannon, Ruth Hogan and Libby Page.

Festive reads are usually cosy reads, with lots of festive cheer and celebrations but 'One Christmas Night' is deceptive as there is an added crime thread running through this festive title.

I really enjoyed reading 'One Christmas Night'. Aswell as the Christmas element, this book was a real message about friendship, loneliness around the festive period and community spirit as Hayley has very cleverly written the book about nine characters who all live on Newbury Street and together they tell the story brilliantly.

I recommend 'One Christmas Night' to anyone looking for a festive read with an added extra - it is definitely worth the read!

Thank you to Orion and to Compulsive Readers blog tours for inviting me to take part in the blog tour and for a copy of the book in return for an honest review.
