The bunny that couldn't be found by Angela Mitchell (Illustrated by Sarah Horne)

The Bunny That Couldn't be Found

Princess Lolly is beside herself when her pet dog, Johnny Bunny, goes missing. But there is a slight misunderstanding when Princess Lolly's staff start searching for a bunny rabbit...

A comical story about a hunt for a rabbit, which is actually ............. a dog!

The story is well written and helps children to understand that things are not always as they sound. It will raise a few laughs while the story is being told.

I really like the illustrations accompanying the story. They have a cartoon style feel and do not portray the princess as young and beautiful but as a princess who is slightly older. The policemen represent the multicultural make up of today's police force. Although the illustrations are sparsely drawn, they represent the story perfectly.

It is a good story which will amuse children, who are slightly older (4+).

Thank you to the publishers, Maverick Arts Publishing, for sending me the book to review.
